IT286 Class: Typographic Portrait in Photoshop

Choose any image you want and convert it into Layer and add another layer for the textErase(E) The background of the the image to emphasize the portraitClick the layer of the image and on the the menu bar click Select then Color RangeSelect MidtoneAt the bottom right toolbar click the second to the last button This adds another layerPress alt + del to transfer the selected image to the new layerRename the layer to 'Midtone' to avoid confusionRepeat the process for 'Shadows' 9 0:01:10.200 --> 0:01:11.600 Choose the text(ex. poems, stories, lyrics, etc.) you wantClick the T button on the left side toolbar and create a box the exact size of the imagePaste the text You can edit the typface, font/size according to your likingCtrl + J the text layer to have another copy of the text layer to save timeRename the text layers to avoid confusionNow copy(ctrl+c) the midtone layer Click the shadow text layer and on the bottom right bar, click the third button(Japan-like)Alt + click the mask layer and ctrl + v (paste) itInvert(ctrl + i) then click the eye of the shadow text layer to see the magicRepeat the process for the ShadowAnother method would be warping the textCreate another layer and type in a wordOn the menu bar click Type then rasterize type layer Then on Edit, Transform then WarpWarp the text to match the target shape(ex. the eye)Just repeat the process for the remaning shapes
