AWS SUMMIT NEW YORK

It was great to be a part of the AWS Summit event in New York last week. Between the Dalai Lama's birthday bash going on upstairs at the Javits Center, and the AWS Device Farm and API Gateway announcements, we were able to have hundreds of great conversations with partners about how to best leverage our platform. Thanks again for stopping by the booth.

CLOUDFS HELPS AIRBOX SYNC AND SHARE ALL YOUR DATA

Airbox, a new app developed on CloudFS, enables you to access all of your files across all of your cloud accounts from a single folder on your computer. And you can stream that data on demand, which means minimal local disk space is used. Read more.

CLOUDFS HELPS MAKE IT EASY FOR NVOLV TO ENABLE CONNECTING AT EVENTS

Hasan Tariq has spent the past three years working in brand promotion and events for companies including American Express, Master Card, Audi, Disney, and General Motors.

Across all these events, he found that attendees were not networking effectively or navigating big events easily. They were stuck reading program booklets and were networking with the wrong people. On the other side, organizers weren't able to improve from event to event because they weren't getting accurate analytics on the success of the event. And sponsors weren't getting the ROI they were expecting from participating in events.

Tariq resolved to find solutions. He and his team created NVOLV, an app aimed at event organizers, sponsors and attendees that consolidates the social activity at an event.

Using CouldFS, Tariq and his team were able to provide full access to users' own files and data at all times through the NVOLV app. Find out how.

When sync is simply not enough

The recent announcement from Box about the pending launch of their Developer Edition validated a big part of Bitcasa's philosophy - that storage should be a seamless part of any applications UX as opposed to handed off to a 3rd party. But it doesn't solve the growing problem for the device economy: the battle for location storage space. Read more on the blog.

Security and privacy: the yin and yang of keeping your cloud data safe

Here at Bitcasa, in addition to security of an end-user's data, end user's privacy is also of primary concern. We maintain that at rest, there should be no ability for anyone - including us - to be able to identify, let alone access any user's data stored in our system. How? Check out the blog.
