Hasan Tariq has spent the past three years working in brand promotion and events for companies including American Express, Master Card, Audi, Disney, and General Motors. Across all these events, he found that attendees were not networking effectively or navigating big events easily. They were stuck reading program booklets and were networking with the wrong people. On the other side, organizers weren't able to improve from event to event because they weren't getting accurate analytics on the success of the event. And sponsors weren't getting the ROI they were expecting from participating in events. Tariq resolved to find solutions. He and his team created NVOLV, an app aimed at event organizers, sponsors and attendees that consolidates the social activity at an event.
